Red Oak ISD is pleased to present a Parent Community Textbook Forum. We encourage parents of Red Oak ISD Kindergarten – 12th grade students and all interested members of the community to preview the textbooks that we are considering adopting for our English Language Arts and Reading courses. You will be able to preview and make comments on both the student and teacher editions. The Parent Community Forum will be held at the Red Oak ISD Annex Building Library located at 100 N. Methodist Street in Red Oak. The Forum will take place on Feb. 16th from noon – 6 pm, Feb. 17th from noon – 6 pm and Feb. 18th from noon – 8 pm. 15-4A District Swim Champions

The GTAC (Gifted & Talented Advisory Committee) will be meeting on Thursday, February 11th at Red Oak Elementary at 7:00 p.m. Toni Harrison, a Gifted & Talented Specialist, will present a workshop designed especially for parents of gifted students. Ms. Harrison will present “Meeting the Social and Emotional Needs of the Gifted Learner.” All parents of gifted students are encouraged to attend.
